The firm was pleased to add Liz Fleming as a member in our Anchorage office in early 2010. Liz comes to us with over 25 years of litigation experience in federal courts, the Court of Federal Claims, and the Boards of Contract Appeals. Liz is a former Assistant United States Attorney and has represented major clients involved in fraud investigations, both criminal and civil, by the Department of Justice, including the State of California and the Boeing Company. She maintains an active practice in Alaska representing clients at every stage of the claims process in government contracting, including litigation to judgment, and engages in general civil litigation in both Federal and local courts. Liz comes to our firm with experience in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, in private big firm practice, in private boutique litigation practice, and in in-house practice for a major defense contractor. She serves in the Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps at the rank of Colonel, and was mobilized and deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007. She has received a Bronze Star. Liz is active in the Public Contract Law Section of the American Bar Association.
